Bluemix is IBM's Platform as a Service (PaaS) and is a core part of IBMs cloud strategy. Bluemix is an implementation of IBM's Open Cloud Architecture, based on Cloud Foundry. This platform enables you to rapidly create, deploy, and manage cloud applications. Because Bluemix is based on Cloud Foundry, you can tap into a growing ecosystem of runtime frameworks and services. Bluemix provides access to a wide variety of services that can be incorporated into an application.

Gartner calls 2015 as the year of PaaS and our Industry is moving rapidly to adopt PaaS as a core consumption model. So, we are looking for technical geeks and hands on architects who can work with our business partners (Top Global System Integrators (GSI)) to adopt Bluemix as their primary Cloud Development platform. You will help these Global SI's build solutions on top of the platform for their clients leveraging IoT, Analytics, NoSQL DB, Mobile etc. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?

Roles & Responsibilities :

-       Design and Build Solutions based on Bluemix for client RFPs where Public, Private, Hybrid Clouds or PaaS are required.
-Review of client's application architectures and help to map those to Bluemix as a platform and its Services.
-Guide/hand-hold the GSI developer community during prototyping, proof-of-concept and application development
-Run enablement sessions and hands-on deep dive workshops
-Mentor teams during Hackathons to drive innovation amongst developer community
-Resolve technical issues by internally working with other IBM development teams
-Pre-Sales Support work together with GSI to build and showcase demos to their end customers
-Responsible for embedding and integrating Bluemix and its Services in the GSI reference architectures for Cloud offerings.
-Communicate Bluemix product roadmaps and strategic development direction on a periodic basis
-Collect feedback on Bluemix usage and requirements to provide inputs back to the Bluemix development team

Skill Required :

         Hands on skills across both Polyglot programming and data as key enablers.

         Understanding of Cloud based applications (12 Factor Apps) and Experience and awareness across PaaS platforms

         Clear understanding of IaaS/PaaS & SaaS as consumption model along with Public, Private and Hybrid as hosting models.

         Java/J2EE, Eclipse/Struts/Hibernate, Python, Node.js/AngularJS, Mobile App Development, Open Source technologies

         Mobile application development experience will be a big plus

         Strong knowledge of DevOps tools & technologies such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, JazzHub, Chef

         Prior background in WAS/Liberty, Big Data, IoT, Integration, Analytics, Mobile services will be a big plus

         Prior pre-sales experience and working directly with customers with strong communication and presentation skills

         Prior exposure to Cloud technologies (Bluemix, SoftLayer, AWS, Azure etc) is preferred

         Self-starter with lot of initiative and capability to present new ideas, technical concepts and influence the developer community

         Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle pressures.

         8 ~ 12 years relevant work experience
