Job Title:                                Sr System Administrator

Work Location:                     Pune

Years of Experience:            5 to 8 years

Work Timings:                      Depending on the client requirement


Education Qualification:


PostGraduate: MCS, MCA, MSC (Masters in Computers)

Certification: MCSE, MCSA, ITIL or MCTS Certified


Job Description and Responsibilities:


?Candidate must have very good command over English to interact with our US based clients.


?Expert level experience in Server 2003/ 2008, SBS, MS Exchange and Active Directory (MCSE 2000/ 2003 OR MCITP 2008)


?SAN experience


?VMware administration and implementation a plus


?Will be required to provide remote support.


?You will be responsible for documenting all work completely and accurately, and diligently entering time daily.


?Manage the entire support process for your tickets and projects. Should be able to call on call escalation point in US.


?Must display a strong sense of ownership for all issues assigned, with the objective of either resolving or closing ticket, or escalating the work order and notifying the Manager of the department.


?Track open work orders through system to ensure excellent customer service and response time for all customers.



Must Have:


?Experience in infrastructure requirement planning, design, maintenance, migration, system administration & support


?Proven, hands- on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and supporting Enterprise Messaging infrastructure is required


?Proficient in designing & sizing managing windows servers


?Experience in designing, managing storage spaces


?Provide Tier III support for Active Directory / Exchange 2007, Microsoft OCS server, AD DNS and DCHP infrastructure. Handle Tier I/ II escalation issues and analysis of troubleshooting requests


?Experience in MS Office tools


?Conducting training on MS office productivity tools - Excel, PPT etc



Technical Skills:


?OS - Windows 2000/ 2003/ 2008, Windows Vista/ NT/ XP/ 7. Trouble shooting. Incident, Change and Problem Management with Server


?Directory Service - Microsoft Active Directory Service


?Application Servers


?Microsoft Exchange 2007 / 2003


?Exchange 2010 will be a plus


?Others - Enterprise Backup software



Secondary Technical Skills



?Virtualization - MS Hyper V, VM Ware


?Data Center - Data Center Implementation


?Experience with Active Directory and Exchange migration will be added advantage


?Storage - Storage Configuration


?Memory - Memory Management/ Configuration


?Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to communicate issues effectively and concisely to varied audiences both verbally and in writing.
